We document public votes and public contracts on automated license plate reader surveillance. If you have a record, a correction, or a question, we want to hear from you.
The most useful things you can send
- Your town’s contract renewal date. Genuinely the most valuable item on this list. It is what lets a resident know a vote is coming while there is still time to attend.
- A record we are missing. A council vote, a contract, an audit log. Include a link to the primary document if you have one; we publish nothing unsourced.
- A correction. Give the page URL and the specific error. We correct within 48 hours of verifying and log every correction publicly.
What we will not publish
Home addresses, personal phone numbers, or family details, for elected officials, police officers, or company employees alike. Please do not send them. We also publish nothing encouraging interference with cameras.
